This species, more often than not, have dreadlocks, wear ethnic clothing, play the digeree-doo, dodge soap and generally mope around thinking they alternative and above everyone else. Over the last 20 years or so they have infested India, Thailand and Nepal under the premise they are travellers, not tourists. Most will end up working for their daddy as a venture capitalist.

Kevin Trudeau is the infomercial overlord (Yeah Ron Popeil has been around longer but Kevin has owned so many more people!). Kevin has been on the air for more than a decade selling products such as Mega Memory, the notorious Coral Calcium & biotape and most recently a book titled "Natural cures they don't want you to know about", just to name a few. A species of rich “glamour-hippie” who is particularly obsessed with dressing up sexy, preening, and showing off. They wear dreadlocks, tight-fitting custom leather, trendy tribal jewelry, sexy boots, masks, feathers, furs and fedoras. Unlike the traditional granola trustafarians who pretend to be poor and earthy – the peacock types like to flaunt their freedom and joy to the world. As it’s hard for them to relate with most adults - they often form exclusive cliques of uber-fashionable adult “kids” with the same psychological issues and fully-subsidized lifestyles, often thinking of themselves as "costume performance artists" and post-modern dancers. Trustafarian Peacocks can most easily be sighted on the West Coast, and in places where former hippie influences have cross-bred with big money – such as San Francisco, Ashland, Maui, Bali and at the Burning Man festival.

Trudeaumania, continued during the subsequent federal election campaign and during Mr. Trudeau's early years as Prime Minister of Canada.
Many young people in Canada at this time, influenced by the 60's counterculture identified with Trudeau, a young, energetic, nonconformist. They were dazzled by Trudeau's charm and good looks, and a large fan base was established throughout the country.
He would often be stopped in the streets for his autograph or for a quick photograph. with this, one could easily see the difference between Trudeau, and other politicians (and reason for the term: Trudeaumania)
many of his fans were attracted to his socially liberal stances (he legalized homosexuality and created more flexible divorce laws).
