The world defines a Troll as a illiterate retarded idiot that can only win arguments through hurling insults and using profanity against their opponent. The real definition of a Troll is any person with a higher level of intelligence, that is very antisocial, and loves to disrupt the status quo by seeking "atypical social rewards" from negative reactions accomplished through their various interactions.

Bill: Wayne is crazy, isn't he?

Ted: He's not dangerous, but he definitely doesn't play well with others.

Chiefly used in Michigan to describe the residents of Michigan's Lower Peninsula who live south of (or under) the 5 mile long Mackinac Bridge that connects Michigan's upper and lower peninsulas.

Mary's family from Houghton were concerned about their daughter marrying a Troll from Lansing.

Troll

One who posts content on a forum to make people extremely angry, and possibly start a flame war. In recent years however, trolling has greatly evolved, spawning entire categories of ways to piss people off. Trolls are also largely shaped by their internet environment, such that on forums, they may merely "flame", but on other sites such as anonymous chat sites (such as omegle) they go to great lengths to bother people. These include asking them if they are turtles, like fishsticks, or saying "India". On anonymous video chatting sites, they go to even greater lengths to bother people, making up entire songs and others to bother people. Many examples of trolling can be found on Art of Trolling, a site hosted by the cheezburger network.

2. A unfunny meme that has surfaced due to events in the manga called Bleach. It consists of lame posters calling every event they didn't think of and/or didn't like a troll.
