class spouse

A friend, usually of the opposite sex, that you get to know and chat with in a class because your other, better friends aren't in that class. Sometimes leads to hurt feelings down the line when one party mistakes it for romantic attraction. Similar to a "work spouse" at a job.

I didn't know Derek before this semester, but we sit next to each other in Trigonometry and are always trading jokes, so now he's my class spouse.

Law School Spouse

Similar to a "work spouse." Someone (generally of the opposite sex) from your law school whom you spend extended amounts of time with, have a beyond simple friendship special bond, and rely on for support. This person often knows more about you than other people and you commonly share inside secrets or jokes. Generally the relationship is flirty and may include sexual tension, but rarely crosses the line to include actual sexual acts.

*Warning* May lead to jealousy from your actual real-life partner who doesn't understand the depth of bonding law school leads to.

"Are you two dating?"
"No, that's just my law school spouse."

Fair-weather spouse

when a spouse, girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife is the greatest partener around when the relationship is fun and easy going. When things turn for the worst or become difficult, as relationships eventually do, they jump ship like their pants are on fire.

P1: Why did Melissa want that divorce after being married for so long? They seemed to be happy...

Spousemouse

A pretty girl who is always there to assist you when you need her, even when things goes south. She can be a bit protective and can easily be pissed off, but a bit of attention usually makes the second go away. You can't be a spousemouse to more than one person at a time, and the person is usually, but doesn't have to be, a romantic partner. In the end a true spousemouse will be ready to take a bullet from you without hesitation.

Example 1 *Friends who haven't talked for years*
Dude 1: "Are you still with Victoria?"
Boyfriend: *Smiling* " Yeah I love Victoria. She's always there for me, even when I screw up. She's the sweetest and the best"
Girlfriend (Victoria): *spousemouse*

Example 2 *At a party*
Dude 1: "Is that girl single?"

Dude 2: "No not at all, she's Jimmys spousemouse"

Example 3 *In League of Legends*
Person 1: "I can't kill their ADC!"
Person 2: "Yeah I know... His support is such a spoucemouse"
