When you're single, your parents and married siblings, often with children, are demanding of your time. They expect you to attend their functions or aid them with little or no notice, and with little or no appreciation. Jenny: I can't, family sabotage, I have to help my niece with her homework tonight.

James: Dude, are you going to Stephanie's birthday party tonight?
