noun. The phenomenon whereby a media player will repeatedly and disproportionately play related songs during a listening session despite being set to select songs at random from a full library.

My iPod exhibited shuffle bias when it played mostly Bouncing Souls songs even though I had set it in full shuffle mode.

Guy 1: "Dude this is awesome. Those songs transitioned into each other perfectly. I wonder what it's gonna play next"
