PEVZ

Acronym for "positive energy vibe zone," a term coined by Adam Forkner in 2003, when he said "We’re furthering our positive energy. We don’t do dark trips like Godspeed or some fuckin’ weird dude talking about his car on fire and stuff or dark violin shit. We don’t do that. We don’t like that music. They’re not on the Positive Energy Vibe Zone that we are on."

Refers to humans' ability to generate palpable positive energy through simple gestures like singing songs, being patient with one another, forgiving, saying nice things, dancing, etc.

In Mr. Rogers's Emmy acceptance speech, he asked the audience to take a few moments to think about people who have loved them and supported them throughout their lives. Total PEVZ.
