Todd: Did you hear that Justin broke up with Tommy?

Sebastian: No I didn't, but they always break up and get back together a few days later.

Todd: Not this time. I saw Justin on grindr. They're done. It's grindr official.

Unofficial is the phrase commonly used to describe the Friday prior to St. Patrick's day at The University of Illinois. The holiday began when students realized St. Patrick's Day was falling on spring break and they would not be able to celebrate it. The day is marked by bars opening at 8 in the morning, kegs on front lawns, students from nearly all surrounding schools flooding the campus to celebrate by drinking obscene amounts of alcohol. It has been said that more drinking occurs on Unofficial at U of I than occurs at many other school's entire years.

Oh man, I got so bellig on Unofficial last year.

Unofficial Girlfriend

The term unofficial girlfriend is used to describe the female partner in the relationship when neither of the people in the relationship have made it official. The term unofficial girlfriend is used to show you intend to make said girl your girlfriend at some point. If you have an unofficial girlfriend you may act and speak as if she is your girlfriend but technically she is not. Exclusivity with unofficial girlfriends is optional, unlike with official ones.

Officially Stranded Productions is an independent, Los Angeles based, production company that mostly films and releases short comedy sketches on popular comedy web sites. It has gained a cult following lately due to the growing popularity of it's web series Stranded in L.A.

The web series has been featured on many comedy sites including Funny or Die, Break, and College Humor.

Me: Who actually makes all those sketches for Stranded in L.A.?
My Friend: It's a local production company. Officially Stranded Productions.

A book written by Lisa Birnbach in 1980 as a tongue-in-cheek guide to preppies. Currently out of print, it details the preppy lifestyle "from toddler to Alumni Fund Raiser". It contains "the look, the pose, the proper accessories. What to wear at What Age. Lilly, Lacoste, and L.L. Bean." Anyone who believes that preppies are those who wear American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, and the like should consult this book to understand what a prep really is. And this book isn't dated considering preppies are classic and do not change their lifestyle as times go on. A highly reliable guide to preps.
