A dangerous genre of dancing related to heavy metal/rock music. Usually done in crowded areas by pushing, shoving and jumping. The denser frontal part of a concert gig will usually have the crazier stunts such as trampling and crowd surfing.

Moron: I tried to crowd surf but I was trampled and got a concussion.

When you're going nowhere, but EVERYONE is in your way.

Side effects of moshing may include, but are not limited to: light-headedness, bruises, bloody noses, broken noses, loss of balance, and in extreme cases unconsciousness.

Moshi Moshi or 'Moshi' for short is a phrase used to initiate a period of time where everyone in a group puts their phones face down on the nearest table without picking it up, for the purpose of enjoying the moment and each others' presence.(Usually right after a smoke sesh)

moshpit

a place at a gig where you can dance with however the fuck you want with a bunch of people you don't know. the dancing will often include punches aimed in the air NOT at the person nearest to you however usually results in full contact. can be dangerous however everyone with a ticket should feel welcome in the mosh pit.

i'm not going in the moshpit tonight cuz i have a weak knee/some jock in the moshpit punched me in the mouth and just acted like nothing happened.

electro moshing

The insane dancing associated with electro gigs. Dancers either mimic the movements of the DJs or do their own thing, normally the latter one. Doing your own thing consists of seizure like movements coupled with jumping.

People have been known to suffer broken toes and occasional kidney punches from such an activity.
