Right-to-left override

In English, we write from the left side of the page to the right, but in many languages such as Arabic, Aramaic, Azeri, Dhivehi/Maldivian, Hebrew, Kurdish (Sorani), Persian/Farsi and Urdu, they instead write from right to left. This is why we have the right to left and left to right overrides. It turns whatever is written after it backward! Unicode code is U+202E.

left-office-overs

Food brought from home or food left from workplace meals, which appears in common break rooms. It is often wilted, cold and sometime expired, but rarely goes unconsumed.

"Dude, I am flat broke today...I gonna surf the break rooms for Left-office-overs for my lunch. Maybe I can find some cold pizza or rock hard donuts. Look! Expired yogurt!"

Leftover Cake

1. The money that is left AFTER the bills are paid; Excess cash flow. Profits.
2. To be in possession of more money than expected. Extra paper.

1. Back in '03, I could barely pay the bills - let alone feed my kids! But ever since I started hustlin, I got all this leftover cake.

Party leftovers

Unclaimed item/belongings that have been left at a party unintentionally by an individual (i.e. jacket, hat). Often times the host of the party will have a grace period for when the said person can come back and retrieve their item/belongings, however once this period passes the party host assumes ownership of the goods and can alternatively give it away. "The 8 day grace period"

Matthew: Check out these party leftovers; a hat, scarf, and a woman's size 3 Armani blazer.

Erin: That's my favorite size and my favorite brand of blazers - may I take this blazer?

Matthew: Haha, well it is pass the 8 day grace period so it's yours now.

leftoverload

A large accumulation of leftovers from multiple meals, especially one that comprises more food than can be consumed before some of it spoils.

We had a ton of pizza delivered on Thursday, we went out for Chinese on Friday, and didn't eat half of what we made at Saturday's barbeque. We are on total leftoverload.
