Lifting a small animal or child into the air and singing the circle of life, preferably with some sort of light shining on you, like rafiki does to simba at the start of the lion king.

Possum Kicking

The act of grabbing a twelve pack of beer and hitting the back roads and driving until you find a Possom. Once one is found, you shine a bright light on the animal and then kick it. This sport is popular in the agricultural parts of society.

My feet hurt because I went Possum kicking with no shoes on!

A phrase used to describe the act of quitting smoking. "Nic" is short for nicotine, the addictive chemical found in cigarettes.

"Hey man, have you noticed that John's been in a bad mood lately?"
"Leave him alone man. He's just been a little irritable since he started kicking the nics. Wanna go smoke?"

"Hey man, can I bum a smoke?"
"Sorry man, I don't have any. I'm kicking the nics."
