Facebookation

A compilation of Facebook and Vacation. A period of time, self imposed and rarely adhered to, where a person voluntarily avoids visiting their Facebook page to get a grip on the real world. A semi-facebookation involves visiting the page, answering messages but not updating status or answering/making comments.

Where is Fred?

Oh, he's around, he's just on a Facebookation.

A week..

Often caused by (a) the friend counter or (b) the relationship status. This is the act of deleting ones facebook page.

Can often be depicted as a sad moment where someone finds your action a moment too late and attempts to stop you in slow motion

Facebookify

Facebook is the wonderful new tool that allows you to obsessively check on what other "friends" are doing, who they are dating, where they went clubbing last Saturday night and how big is their brain.

It also allows you to share with these "friends" exactly what you are doing at the moment, what is on your mind and other existential matters that are bugging you.

But this tool can also be used to share information and arrange meetings and nights out.

Therefore, to facebookify is to keep someone informed via Facebook of everything that is going on in your world, that might (or might not) matter to them.

Guy #1's post on Guy #2's wall: Dude, I promised I'll facebookify you with an answer. So, he goes: yes!

Facebookucide

When anything on Facebook makes you so depressed, i.e. seeing your ex-boyfriend's profile, or realizing you have 600 friends and you're alone on Friday night, that you delete yourself.

Neil: Hey, where is Zee's profile?

Christina: Oh, she misses me and seeing my posts made her depressed. She committed Facebookucide.

Neil: Wooord. Dang. She will be missed.

facebookery

1. Feeling the need to check you facebook every 20 mins to see if the status of your "friends" has updated.
2. being a "fan" of everything - reguardless of if you even care about the cause that you have just "supported".
3. Spending countless hours upload and/or view pictures so you can feel more connected to the people you rarly see.

You're always glued to the computer for hours at a time! Updates don't even come in that frequently! I hope there is rehab for those that suffer from Facebookery.

The spewing and spurting of nastiness by a bunch of your Facebook 'friends' all over your Facebook 'wall' all at the same time; so much so that you can't squeegee it off before the whole planet sees it.

"All my 'friends' went Facebookaki on all my pages, and I'm out of tissue!"
