a group of people of the same ethnicity living together in the same area of a city. generally smaller areas usually crowded and in poor conditions

example - china town little italy harlem china town is primarily found with asains and little italy is all italians which makes it an ethnic ghetto

* Memebers of this group, share the same customs, language, and culture, and belong to one race, and common ancestary, and some tend to be family oriented.

Four people in my history class seem to be from the same ethnic group and have similar traditions.

honorary ethnicity

When a person has many friends of a certain ethnicity... But they themselves are white. After a certain amount of friends and exposure to culture of a certain racial group, they can be made into an "honorary ethnicity".

Ethnic nationalists often strive for autonomy of their specific ethnic group from another ruling nation.

John is an Ethnic Nationalist and is supporting the independence of Kurdistan, East Turkestan, and Tibet! Ethnic Nationalism is great!

Ethnic Mormon

One who is a descendent of Mormons. This term is typically used of someone who does not practice the LDS religion. Analogous to Ethnic Jew.

The Ethnic Boom forever changed the way Americans view people of foreign decent as we know it today, at one point those people were once considered minorities.
