The belief that wherever you go, earthquakes flee from your presence.

I moved to California a year ago, and there haven't been any earthquakes at all. It must be me.

That's really Egocentric thinking.

When moving to California, I, being my egoseismic self, pushed the epicenter of earthquakes to North Carolina.
