eatable

Something that doesn't make you throw up to think about eating it. Often confused with edible, becuase of the similarity. Just because something is edible, does not mean it is eatable, and vice versa.

While grass is not edible, it is eatable so some people. However, cafeteria food, while always edible, is often uneatable.

1. Arrogant or pompous. Basically a person who likes to talk themselves up, in an unsuccessful attempt to be cooler.

2. Flaky; unreliable or a liar.

2. "John said he'd come with us this time, but he's late again... the eatass."

eatathon

A smorgasboard of food. A buffet of delicassies. A number of food items served at once to a group of friends. A hectic cook up of massive proportion.

Example 1:
"I could eat the balls off a jockey and chase the horse for seconds! Let's cook up an eatathon!"

Example 2:

Geoff says "hey boys lets get some ladies around tonight for an eatathon"

Big Dog replies "how bout we get your mum around for an eatathon"
