The Contra Code, or the Konami Code, is a cheat code used in video games. Konami made a significant number of early NES games such as Gradius, Life Force, and Contra.

If you use the Contra Code in Contra, you get thirty lives.

Contra III

The war the world forgot.

A kick ass game that dosn't mess around with emotions or try to be realistic. It's just pure action, what more games should try for these days !

I can't beat the first level of Contra III cause i play little pussy games like The Sims.

contra dancing

a widely unknown type of community folk dance (at least among children/teenagers).

Simply explained as similar to square dancing, but the couples are arranged in lines. It's quite fun, actually, but no one would know it because no one knows of it.

Moves done throughout the dance include the do-si-do, hey, swing, circle to the left/right, star left/right, gypsy, ladies chain/curtesy turn, right-and-left through, promenade, etc.

Do you know what contra dancing is?

Uh... no?

No one does.

contra thumb

A sore and/or numb sensation between the nuckle and base of the thumb caused by hitting the joystick button of a game controller for hours on end. The ailment became common after playing a classic side-scrolling shooter called, "Contra". Sometimes confused with carpal tunnel syndrome.

contra handshake

The act of a unique handshake, in which you place your hand in the formation of a letter 'C', then proceeding to grab the forearm of the given recipient, so in turn, both subjects' hands are latched onto their counterparts forearm, then proceed to grunt & behave in a macho army fashion.

Contra Flip

The Contra Flip is a jump that, when preformed correctly, you are spinning forward the whole time while in the air from the time you leave ground till you return. The Contra Flip can be found in the Konami game series Contra.
