recursive acronym

An acronym whose meaning contains the original acronym. For example, the programming language PHP stands for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor", where one of the words the acronym shortens is the acronym itself.

- Dude, I just thought of a great acronym: FIAW! It stands for "FIAW Is A Word"!
- That's a recursive acronym, you dummy.
