Clear Spring

a small town in western maryland boasting a population of a whopping 224 people. home to THE most pathetic football team in the state and, oddly enough, the best marching band around. Entertainment in Clear Spring consists of cow tipping, minor vandalism, and late night trips to the nearby Wal-mart (the only place open afer 9pm). at one point, clear spring also boasted the highest teen pregnancy rate in the county and the highest STD rate in the entire state of maryland.

Clear Spring plays a football game against the Hancock Panthers once a year. as the two teams are the worst in the county every year, the game has been dubbed the "toilet bowl." Clear Spring loses most times.

Arab Spring

The Arab Spring refers to the current crop of pro-democracy uprisings currently (2011) sweeping the Middle East and North Africa. The "spring" is in contrast to the "winter" of oppression that many of these countries have experienced in the past.

The Arab Spring began in Tunisia, with the self-immolation of a vegetable seller named Mohammed Bouazizi. This kicked off a wave of protests that ended with the ouster of Tunisian president Zine el Abidine Ben Ali. Similar protests (and self-immolations) soon followed around the Middle East/North Africa region. More information can be found in pretty much any newspaper and/or Wikipedia.

The Arab Spring will eventually lead to a free Middle East.

Springfield, VA

The most generic suburb you will ever have the misfortune of visiting. Located just outside Washington, DC. Springfield consists of strip malls, cheap apartments (primarily housing latino gang members), expensive hotels, the infamously ghetto Springfield Mall, and seemingly "nice" neighborhoods where old ramblers and new McMansions abound.

Don't be fooled my it's generic appearance though, most people residing in Springfield have done jail time or are engaged in illegal activities. When driving though this area I would recommend locking your doors.

Oh shit! This is Springfield, VA! Lock the doors I don't wanna get jacked!

spring break

a ritual event that takes place from anywhere from late march to early april. the partipants are high school and collage students; these strange creatures both engage in a varity of activities to drive any memeories of the school year from their minds. activites include, but ar not limited to; dancing on tables, getting laid, getting stoned and/or drunk, partying, dancing, and staying home and doing absloutely nothing at all. some ragic consequences can result from this dangerous but important rite of passage, including your girl/boy freind finding out you cheated them with 8 other boys/girls, your parents finding out how much of an animal u really are, throwing up, getting pregeant, getting raped, and getting killed.

I found out my girl had hooked up with 4 other guys over spring break and i knew it was over.
