Classical definition: A
person who believes that race is (as in skin color, eye or
hair color or other minor physical differences) the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce the inherent superiority or inferiority of a particular race.
Current definition: Anyone who:
1. is white (particularly if they are male and straight)
2. does not publicly support every and all viewpoints considered politically correct at the moment
3. disagrees in any manner or on any topic with a 'progressive liberal' (note
people on the extreme right wing are
equally intolerant but tend to use different terms like 'snowflake', libtard' etc).
For this reason it is very possible and common in the current social/political climate to both be a racist and not be a racist at the same time. For example a
person who utterly rejects
racism as in the classical definition and treats all
people as equally capable and valued would not be considered a racist; unless they happen to disagree with a progressive leftist's views in which case it doesn't matter what you believe (classical definition) or how you interact with
people in your daily life.
1. The KKK is a racist organization. (classical definition)
2. (current definition, taken from an actual conversation in January of 2019)
Me: "
People of any ethnicity or racial group can be racist, and its also 'racist' to claim that all members of any one race or ethnic group are automatically rac....."
Progressive
Teenager: (interrupting me) "Spoken like a typical white male attempting to justify being a racist by claiming other
people can be racist too!"
