hoagie

(noun) An overweight caucasian male with a propensity for eating (usually cheesesteaks, sub sandwiches, or both) and supporting his local sports team. Most commonly found in the Philadelphia area but rumored to exist throughout the United States of America. Can be identified by their inclination to cause havoc when their favored sports team wins or loses, suppressed anger expressed through road rage, and their affinity for drunkeness.

Rocky: Ay yo, Adrian, you going to the city today or what?

Adrian: No way! There's an Eagles game today and I know the stupid hoagies are going to be out and acting like buffoons.

A terms of endearment for someone/something of questionable history that has redeeming qualities.

Examples could be anything from a slutty friend with a heart of gold to a very old yiddish bread product that has been sitting out on the table far too long. Is it mold or was it always that color? Probably tasted good when you first got it. Pity but it's still a hobagel.

Hoebagel

A term used for a person's significant other. Hoebagel is usually a males nickname, and the female counter part would be his slutmuffin. Both are a very good match behind closed doors, and really anywhere with enough space to receive pleasure. Not always a term of sexual meaning, but can also be used as a sign of affection and love.

Guy: I love you slutmuffin.
Girl: I love you too hoebagel.
