Flawlessly accomplishing the act of something as if one were born to only complete that action, but only with hard work. Typically used to describe the dance moves known as "shaking" or "twerking"; Thought to be most likely derived from the Rihanna song "Work"

Situation1 "Damn, she was really putting in that work shaking at the party last night."

Situation2 "He really knows how to put in that fucking work in bed. Had me screaming like a wild banshee."💦💦
