It is a Filipino term identifying supporters of Leni Robredo, who was vice president of the Philippines 1916-1922. As VP, Leni has shown integrity honesty & exemplary competence in public service. Her office gained star audit rate for efficiency in the use of govt funds. So, Pinklawan stands for good governance integrity honesty & competence. With small budget, VP Leni gained support of donors who fund her pro poor programs. Donors trust her because she won't steal. Individuals volunteer to help her. So Pinklawan also stands for volunteerism and collective work to help one another.

The Pinklawans exercise the Filipino bayanihan spirit of helping one another.

A derogatory term meant to inject hatred and discrimination on Filipinos who have expressed support or admiration for former Philippine Vice President, Leni Robredo (VP Leni).

The term was derived from VP Leni's chosen 2022 campaign colors, PINK (or ROSAS in the Tagalog dialect).

Many Marcos apologists from the Philippines, love to brand Filipinos who do not follow their beliefs, "Pinklawan".
