Ladder

When one takes forever to find something, and you start to make fun of them for it, but you end up regretting it months later and then they end up trying to kill you (Halloweens style OFC 🙄) and when they’re about to cut your head off, you take a cutting board and whack ‘em in the head with it, then they get back up and grab you by the legs, bringing you to the floor before stabbing you repeatedly-

That’s called a Ladder!

“Yo the other day I got killed with a knife halloween style because I dropped a cutting board before calling this dude out for taking forever 3 months ago!”
“You got laddered?”

“Yuuuuuup”

Ladder

- another term for “leaderboard” in gaming, particularly in Diablo 2.
• The ladder in Diablo 2 is like how you’d usually play the game but everything is on reset. You can watch videos in-depth on streaming sites (Youtube, etc.)

- another definition would be an object thin-looking portable stair.

example 1:

Person 1: Is the ladder in Diablo available yet?
Person 2: What does that mean anyway?

example 2:

Person 1: They say walking pass a stair is a sign of bad luck
Person 2: And you believe in superstitions?
