Gab-bing
"Gabbing" (non-formal) is the verb that comes from the acronym "Gab" (giggled a bit).
This verb is used mostly in text when someone sends you something that's funny but doesn't get to the point where you start laughing, so you just giggle a bit (gab), therefore you start gabbing.

-I caught Joana off guard yesterday.
-Oh really? What was she doing?
-She was watching a "How to look skinny in photos" tutorial. I started gabbing instantly.
