In reality, people who really do know a lot and care a lot about food wouldn't be caught dead using this term to describe themselves.
I ordered a fried egg on my burger and when I received it the egg was runny! I smelled like raw egg for the rest of the day! I'm a huge foodie and this is disappointing.
