Founded by Horace Knowles suggesting attaching a florist’s water tube near the top of a wheelchair by means of Velcro and inserting the real or artificial flower of your choice. It brightens the day not only for the wheelchair occupant, but for everyone they pass.

A nickname given to a person who through generally oafish, apish and neanderthal-like behaviour appears almost to be mentally retarded. As would be expected a social ineptitude accompanies this. A wonderfully agile mind may well be hiding beneath the surface but the outward appearance and demeanour means the recipient would not seem out of place pushing themselves along in a wheelchair, wearing a safety helmet and screeching at the top of their voice: "WHEEEELS!"

After meeting such a person: "Is wheels autistic?"
Or after going out for dinner: "Why does wheels eat like a caged beast?"
On a night out: "Look at wheels dance, it's the funniest thing I've ever seen!"

Wheelhouse

Wheelhouse- Another southern, very American word with meaning stemming back to into its origin in the mills. A wheelhouse in a mill is where water power (streaming water) is used to generate mechanical power by turning a huge wheel. The wheelhouse is where the mill sources its power, this translates to the commonly accepted definition today, the wheelhouse is where power is sourced from. In terms of throwing a punch (a strike) or swinging a baseball bat, In one's wheelhouse is where these strikes are most powerful.
