Get the food yardmug. In lacrosse, one player stick-checks another, knocking his stick out of his hand. Usually followed up by a loud chorus of "YARD SALE!!!" or "Hey, how much for that stick?"

Get the fuck yardsmug. People place used household items, clothes, etc. in their yard and offer them for sale. Usually held on a week end, a "yard sale" often involves one, or a few families who pool their unwanted items to sell, often very cheaply.
