A word that is becoming very popular in New York.
To "Shkoom" someone is a N.Y. prank that means walking up to some random person, kiss them, and say "Hey Mom/Dad!", and insist no matter WHAT they say.

skommy

a mother or mother in law who is fun to hang out with but is twisted. She has a sick sence of humor and has an unusuall attraction to small dogs. OCD is also common in skommys. She is often wanted around because she makes everything fun. She will spend endless days in the house eating like crap, but dont fight with her about it because she will start dropping F bombs out of left field and kick your butt. She is cute too.

1)That skommy spent 4 days in the house eating grilled cheese sandwiches and playing with her baby (dog).
2)Did you see what skommy did?? She was dancing around the house to native american music and flapping her arms.
3)I didnt want skommy to go home, shes so much fun.

An expression of greeting, but can also be used randomly at will and not in the said context. Shoomenoo can express boredom, a fleeting moment of mental ambiguity or despair.

It can also mean 'shoes'.

"every morning they exchanged polite shoomenoo's"
