Owen Sound

A smaller community of 21,000 people located on the shores of Georgian Bay in Southern Ontario. Idenitifiable by it countless low-rise apartment buildings, run down city centre and Heritage Place mall. There is a large amount of poverty in the area, with a large concrentration of single parents, low income earners and public assistance recipients.

I need to find a job.

An insult toward bitter females, who may or may not be fat and/or ugly, that think they are above people who are more attractive and can attract the opposite sex easily. They also generalize about people to make themselves feel better.

Bitter Female: "In my books all pretty boys and weight lifters are jerks. They think they are so great, if one tried to walk up to me I would ignore them."

Random Person: "You sound fat, those types of guys would not want to talk to you in the first place."

the sound of silence

Originally, the sound of silence was a song by Simon and Garfunkel released in 1964. The sing was remade by the group 'Disturbed' on there album 'Imortalized' in 3015 after their four year hiatus.

George: " Hey did you hear the sound of silence"?
Tom: " Which version, Simon and Garfunkel's or Disturbed's version?

Weak sound, whether it be the sound system or the selection. If the sound boy isn't pulling out the finest selection on a quality system, it's a drum pan sound.

Empty barrels make the most noise,

Brown Sound

The Brown Sound is a very low frequency sound that, when produced and heard by human beings, forces the listener(s) to shit their pants relentlessly.

Riot control on campus was forced to subdue the fighting students by emitting the Brown Sound, thus removing all impulse to continue rioting.
