Heavy-Medic

Commonly referred to in Team Fortress 2, the Heavy-Medic is a heavy that is constantly being healed by a medic, usually behind them. Possibly being übercharged in the process which poses a great disadvantage to the opposing team. This is due to his powerful minigun and his significantly high health when being healed.

Alcohol that is consumed to treat a "medical condition" such as anxiety, difficulty sleeping, shyness, or restlessness.

I couldn't fall asleep last night so I had some medical alcohol - a few shots of vodka did the trick!

miraculous medical reversal

An event which doctors have consensually denied possible because A) they have never seen it, B) they don't know how to make it happen, and C) it does not fit within the narrow guidelines of their practice, which are in place to keep patients where they are.

The patient had been diagnosed with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, told that she would never walk again, classed as "non-ambulatory" for insurance purposes, issued a steel leg brace and a motorized scooter. Dutifully, she did not walk, or try to, for two decades. With the help of someone who believed that a miraculous medical reversal was possible, the day came when she walked into her neurologist's office on her own feet, without the scooter, without the leg brace. Her doctor responded with total refusal of acknowledgement. His practice, after all, was described as "maintenance", not cure, and what the hell was this.

medical misdirection

When you call report to the freestanding ED with a 79yoa Female with a twisted ankle, and the MD makes it a Trauma 1 and diverts you to Metro.

"This is Med 8,coming to you with a 79 Female, Complaint is Isolated Ankle Injury. Denies falling, states twisted it whi..."
MD: "Wait, you said 79? TRAUMA TEAM! DIVERT TO METRO!" *click
"...Fucksticks, more medical misdirection..."

Just simply calling for healing/ healing item. Used most in TF2, especially easy because the "MEDIC!" button is E, which is easy to reach (for whoever pay 5$ to chat) (Note: Too many people calling for medic can cause medical teammate to ragequit)
