So they offered beer for a nickel. Great plan right. So the fans got drunk and started a riot. The Indians ended up forfeiting due to the craziness. You know you're from Ohio if you've heard of this.
Over 25,000 people came to see the Indians on the day of the Great Nickel Beer Night Riot. Too bad nobody remembers being there.
