YouTube-recommendation-induced delay

Refers to the postponement that inevitably occurs when you go to watch a certain video on YouTube, but there are one or more irresistibly-interesting other videos that are offered on the home-page, and so you spend the next 45 minutes viewing those other videos before you finally bring up the one you'd originally gone there to watch (if you can even remember which one it was, of course, after totally saturating your brain wif all of dat OTHER delightful/fascinating/informative content).

When I'd originally brought up the YouTube homepage, I was just wanting to watch a 5-minute instructional-video on how to re-assemble the carburetor on a Weed Wacker after cleaning it, but I ended up spending over an hour at it thanks to YouTube-recommendation-induced delay!

delta-x

Used when someone is blocking your view of something. In layman's terms, it means 'Move!'. Its origins come from the physics term 'delta-x', which indicates a change in displacement (ie. movement from one position to another)

The name Delayla is a known name but spelled differently. This version means a smart, shy girl but when needed she will stand up for herself and others. Will speak when someone says something but never will she be first. May be antisocial at first but nice forever. Also, normally a middle name, sometimes common.

burn delay

A set amount of time allotted to a person in order to respond to a burn; usually five seconds, though varies with the audience; can be used to determing how snappy a person is.

Joe: BURN!!
Bob(10 seconds later): Yeah well...
Joe: Nope, you missed the burn delay.

TY Delay

When someone says 'Your welcome' before you can say thank you and makes you look/feel like a total douche bag and thereby, ruining your moment of graditude. The only way to avoid this is to beat them at their own game and say thank you like a run on sentence.
