anime music video

A video clip made by editing many cut scenes from one or more animes fit to some catchy MP3 song. The song is an important choice - it's either in English or in Japanese and the AMV creator should be familiar with it's words to make the scenes match the song text. The scenes shouldn't contain any subtitles and be of good quality, as otherwise the creator's efforts are half wasted. Many newbies even forget to turn off the DIVX logo - especially annoying, when it appears on every cut.
The resulting music video is a self-contained story and can really entertain you if made properly - it's sometimes even better than the song's original live clip.

Aluminum Studios have made some cool AMVs, but most of them are just fillers.

Derived from "animatronics," it is a variation of the more traditional "robot" or "automaton." You can find them at Disney, in haunted houses, or in badass movies with crazy dead looking monsters and stuff. It's not on dictionary.com or m-w.com but f*ck them.

The banker on "Deal or No Deal" isn't a real person, he's an animatron.

A series of symbols and characters that make up something that looks like a face. Usually used in online chatrooms, games, and instant messages. Also called an emoticon, but generally used when making a face that looks like something you might see in a Japanese anime. The same anime face can also be represented several different ways, such as ^_^ may be ^^, ^^;, ^-^, etc.

Different anime faces you may see: ^_^, >_>, <_<, v_v, -_-, ;-;, T~T, o_O, O_O, o_o, O_o, etc.

Bob: Hey Brenda.
Brenda: Hi ^_^
Bob: How are you?
Brenda: Not good -_-
Bob: What's wrong?

anime squad

A group of individuals creating a movement, or revolution on the website WorldstarHipHop's comment section. While owning the comment section of every video Worldstar puts up, they create Anime inspired usernames and avatars and address each other by yelling (or typing) the words "squad" or "as." This squad is far more superior than the Dislike Squad, WWE Squad, Marvel Squad, and the short lived Transformer Squad.
