Triple P

Means "PPP" which stands for "Pedantic, prudent and pretentious". Refers to a person (stereotypically a woman) who is opposed to, or abstains from, taboo recreation (e.g. casual sex, drugs and black comedy), and who may also be hostile towards people who promote or engage in them.

Triple Ps are typically described as being boring, haughty, purist, patronizing and close-minded people.

Stereotypically associated with religiosity, feminism and cultural conservatism.

"Pushing point (guard)" This is a way of saying taking the lead, or charge. In basketball (blacktop) terms the person that designates themselves as point guard sets the plays and controls the pacing of the game and announces this by saying "I'm pushing point". See "Taking point."
