Most commonly used in The Lawrence School, Lovedale, which follows a strong military tradition adopted from the colonial era British rule of the land the school's situated in, India.

The school was, back then, referred to as the Lawrence Memorial Royal Military School, or the Lawrence Asylum, even prior.
