A block of shows on cartoon network that are on after 11. Supposedly for adults, basically appropriate for all graduates of elementary school. Contains american cartoons, anime, and wierd shows that really creep you out (super milk-chan, robot chicken, etc.) Cartoon Network should put it on in the morning and get rid of the other BS they show.

Rurouni Kenshin should be on adult swim, it really isn't a kiddie anime.

adult album alternative

Not to be confused with "adult alternative", though it often is and kind of overlaps with it sometimes. Used to describe radio stations that play everything in rock that's typically not too "aggressive" or not too "soft", from The Beatles and Bob Dylan to The Shins and Modest Mouse and everywhere in between. Should NOT include John Mayer, Jason Mraz, James Blunt, etc. though unfortunately it often does. Sadly, most of the stations that play it tend to be closer to adult alternative than adult ALBUM alternative.

adults these days

phrase kids think of when adults say "kids these days".

1)Adult: Kids these days don't know how hard we had it growing up. We had to walk ten miles to school and back in the snow!
Kid: Adults these days just whine about their pasts and claim we're all spoiled. Our parents actually care about frostbite.

2) Adult: Kids these days just listen to rap, pop, and emo crap. They don't know how great Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin were!
Kid: Adults these days can't accept the fact that there's more to music than the classics. If they really hate mainstream music so much, they should listen to indie rock!
