Energy-Knowledge Plateau

Energy-knowledge plateau: (noun) The point at which energy-knowledge acceleration has reached its limit, and it is no longer possible to find a more efficient energy source that can improve the rate of knowledge acquisition. It emphasizes the idea that the rate of knowledge acquisition has leveled off or reached a maximum point, and that further improvements in energy efficiency will not lead to significant increases in the rate of knowledge acquisition.
The energy-knowledge plateau was reached when no more energy source was found to be more efficient than the current one, limiting the rate of knowledge acquisition and stalling further research.

Shitting knowledge

An expression when someone is so incredibly smart, intelligent, intellectual, and savvy, they simply begin shitting knowledge (on others) literally, figuratively, and metaphorically.

Help me get on your level of shitting knowledge, please.

Approach to Knowledge

Yeah yeah I totally get that man. You got the 2 types right? Michael Malice was talking about this, right? Where you got the 2 types of people, right? Like, the first guy looks at what's around him and deduces conclusions. Like ME! And the other guy has a worldview in his head and he tries to make reality comport with that worldview.... Like the guy who's trying to use Nikki Haley to pass his anti-online anonymity legislation. Or the conservatives trying to legislate and boycott the gays away. What is the name of that guy.... Oh wait! It's Dr. Jordan! He's the one doing that! He tried to frame it as though it's the communists doing the thing be HE'S the one trying to force reality to comport with his vision.
Hym "Yeah, that approach to knowledge where you try to do that thing you're doing is dogshit. That's largely the problem here."

Man 1: This gentleman is called valuable sex knowledge, go home and be in fear of me.
Guy 1: No, but kinda though...and because I love my life.

Knowledge

Hym "My feelings have nothing to do with it. It's knowledge. I know my account of reality is correct. Your argument is basically 'well, there's no evidence I shot you so you're not dead.' And don't worry about what I'm goong to do about it. You're like Stan Smith from that episode of American Dad where he feels that Steve is getting soft so he starts dressing like a teenager and dollowing Steve around and bullying him until he stands up to him (Stan). All the while using this carrying a box of oranges up several flights of stairs. Insisting that 'if you don't do things the right way you won't have a good life.' The conflict resolves after Steve hires Stan's old bully Stelio Kantos to beat up Stan. He prefaces the beatdown by saying 'What do you care how I get the oranges up the stairs?' and that Stelio was going to beat him until he (Stan) says that the oranges are 'up the stairs.' It's a good episode from the best show (arguably). But it applies. And you are Machiavellian. Look... Hold on... searching... 'Machiavelli believed that public and private morality had to be understood as two different things in order to rule well. As a result, a ruler must be concerned not only with reputation, but also must be positively willing to act unscrupulously at the right times.' See that? Who does that sound like? Not me. I've said repeatedly that the very idea of a private morality disproves belief in a purported proposition ethic (not in so many words but implicitly)"
