Oil On Wood

Telling someone that they are like "Oil on wood" is like telling someone that they are beautiful and that they stand out in a good way. Putting oil on wood preserves the wood and makes it stand out more so when you say that someone is like "oil on wood" is like telling them that they are preserved and that they look outstanding.
