It is sometimes also associated with dishonesty or trickery. The result is often a conflict of some sort, ranging from mild resentment to murder. The physical manifestation of this behaviour evokes the image of someone staring down another along the upturned bridge of their nose, a form of behaviour commonly found in many cultures.
