Group Surfing

When you’re with every person in a friend group and do this to many groups. You go from group to group being with every member in it. Most people do this for attention or revenge.

Friend: Did you hear?
You: What was I supposed to hear?
Friend: Dude your ex just went group surfing.
You: She always did like the attention.

couch surfing

A skilled professional sport; most often taken up by the homeless musician. It may consist of riding the 'ultimate wave' ( prolonged or permanently scored sofa accomidation) or smaller and shorter waves (temporary stays).
These skilled and talented 'couch athletes' sometimes consider getting a job, but usually are back out in the surf within a few weeks thereafter. WARNING: This culture is extremely territorial!

The act of standing on a wooden/plastic/foam/softop board anywhere in length between 4' to 15' while a wave (white wash or breaker) pushes you toward the shore. One of the awesomest sports in the world. One can also have "party waves" where many surfers catch a single wave. Or do tricks, or merely catch a barrel (When the breaker curls over and you're caught in a sort of water tunnel).

Katie: What do you like to do?
Mike: Eat, sleep, and surf. Mostly surf.

James: I go surfing everyday.
Katie: What do you do for a living then?
James:....surf

The act of making full use of modern smartphone technology to skive work by surfing the internet whilst sat on the toilet doing your own download.

Boss. "Where's that teaboy gone, I haven't seen him for ages"?
Me. "He will be sat on the bog stool surfing".
Boss. "When he gets back I'll cram that phone so far up his cornhole he won't sit down for a week"!
Me. "I think he'd like that too".

The sport of riding on mattress which is being towed, with rope, great velocity, and beer-stoked hilarity, over or through a field.
