straplings

"Straplings" are the tiny bits of wire insulation that remain as scrap after stripping the ends of electrical wiring in preparation for crimping or soldering on terminals. This is most precisely used to refer to the circular "rings" of insulation pieces removed in one piece during the stripping process.
Singular form is "strapling".

It is customary and considerate to vacuum up the straplings after completing a harness rework in the Elab.

Stamping

When someone declares something is final, but then continues.

Saying "I'm leaving this awful party and not coming back!!"...then returning 10 minutes later when no one follows them.

Writing "This is my final email on the subject!" then proceeding to send half a dozen more.
