Music

Every note tells a story. Every note is it's own, and we shall treat it as such. Music is my refuge. It is love and joy and woe and sadness, all weaved together in perfect harmony. You need to listen to the melody. What is it telling yoy? Treat every piece like a story of survival, war, and peace.

Sound that's more about enjoyment than survival.

The rainforest produces, to us, a music that may or may not be created to be mere communication. Much human-created organized sound (intended music) ends up having an identity-forming function, which is a survival function. So, if you loved, say, 3eb as a teenager, was that because you enjoyed it music function, because you thought it would allow you to fit in survival function, or some combination of the two?

If you've clicked this far, then you're probably really bored, and browsing Urban Dictionary to put off doing some important task or other. Maybe an assignment? Paying a bill? My point is, it's more than likely you know darned well what music is: you're just procrastinating.

On the off-chance you actually have no idea what it is - maybe you've been deaf your whole life, and by some miracle can hear now - you should stop trying to look it up and go and experience it. Check Wikipedia for different musical genres - there are hundreds. Find one you like. Find artists you like. Listen to what they have written.

Music is for LISTENING TO, not reading about.

There is no such thing as universally "good" music. Until you have listened to everything, you cannot possibly judge which is the best - and even then, who are you to dictate another's tastes and preferences?

Music Juice 

A liquid (saliva) that comes out of an instrument such as a saxophone trumpet and such due to blowing in it. A more politer/less disgusting way to say saliva came from an musical instrument.

(This term was first said by my music teacher)

"I tipped my saxophone upside down and out came the music juice."
"After a band rehearsal, there were music juice on the floor, everywhere!"
