raver's hangover

A state of exhaustion the morning after a night out dancing like crazy. Unlike a regular hangover, this is not necessarily brought on by any alcoholic beverage, but by sheer physical exertion.
A typical sufferer will sleep until late in the afternoon, be fairly sore, especially in the feet, and be ravenously hungry upon waking.

Oh, I'm fine, I was just sleeping off my raver's hangover. Let's go get pancakes!

compound hangover

A compound hangover occurs when a person gets drunk one night, then gets drunk all over again the next day thereby bypassing the first hangover. What occurs on the third day is a compound hangover.

Get hammered Friday night. Drink early and often all day and night on Saturday. Experience compound hangover, much worse than a normal hangover, on Sunday.

Christmas Hangover

The sick feeling you get in your stomach when you realize it's no longer Christmas. Usually begins the second you open your last present and is worse depending on how excited you were on Christmas Eve.

Symptoms include: forgetting what presents you even got, sickened feeling, tiredness, depression, ect.

As soon as Sally opened her last present, she went in her room and slept. The poor girl's Christmas Hangover lasted a week.

IHOP hangover

The symptoms caused by an overindulgence of IHOP's colossal portions of hearty breakfast foods. Marked by headaches, stomach pains and laziness. The hangover can be found in 49 of 50 states in America 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in 1,319 different locations (Wikipedia.org)

Rachel had IHOP for breakfast and experienced an IHOP hangover several after eating some very chocolatey pancakes, whereas Jon has a higher tolerance of IHOP and avoided the hangover.

The sickening feeling you wake up with when you have partied too hard the night before. Regretting the crazy thing(s) you did last night and feeling very bad about yourself. Related to drinking, hookups, drugs, ect.

movie hangover

Just like a book hangover, When you have finished a movie and you suddenly return to the real world, but the real world feels incomplete or surreal because you're still living in the world of the movie.

I just finished The Dark Knight and I have such a movie hangover from it.
