Verbally castrating someone is when you say something that the person cannot reply because their brain has exploded!

Girl: There was this old man who thought we should kill allllll the ladybugs in a mass genocide! It was terrible!"
Boy: Did you verbally castrate him?
Girl: Why yes, there was a verbal castration.
