No it's not like "would you like fries with that?" Kind of side. In movie terms sides refers to pages of a shooting script. Only the leads get complete scripts. All others only get sides for the scenes they're involved with.

We got 60. Sides of rewrites for a scene we're supposed to start shooting in an hour from now!
