The dork tried to look, sound, and act tough and insensitive every waking minute of her day, even though some of us knew her as a kid, and saw how she handled/bore physical pain when there was no attention from the media or public to be had. What using a gas-powered welder/cutter can be if you either don't enjoy such labor or da conditions dat you're operating under aren't conducive for comfy metalworking, such as it's being a hot/humid locale, da working-position is awkward, etc.

One should take care to have plenty of ventilation and arrange for a sensible/stable working-position when doing flame-based metal-fabrication/salvage; otherwise, said task can be downright torchure.

Tough guy

A male, typically on the older spectrum, who feels the need to represent their masculinity -or "toughness"- at any given moment. They do this in a violent manner, often with threats, physical combat, destruction of property, etc. These people are always fighting for something incorrect which makes them disliked by normal people. Their natural habitat varies but they are most stereotypically associated with Walmart, parking lots, and other food/shopping chains.

"That guy's trying to fight an innocent person. He seems to want to assert male dominance here in this Walmart. He MUST be a tough guy."
