Lululemon level

An expression that originated in Montréal amid rapid gentrification. It refers to the stereotypical aesthetic and lifestyle often associated with “basic white girls,” and more broadly to the vibe of overly gentrified neighborhoods. It describes people with expensive lifestyles who do yoga or Pilates without truly exercising, drink overpriced matcha lattes while discussing their wellness routines, and walk their tiny dogs through leafy streets dressed in Lululemon leggings. They claim to love the diversity and liveliness of cool neighborhoods, yet contribute to the loss of their identity.

The term can be used to describe people, objects, places, or even entire vibes. It is mostly used in a pejorative way, or positively in a sarcastic sense.

Closely related to “Shein level.”

Mid Leveling

Banter name of Solo Leveling, a Korean manhwa. It's actually average (maybe even subpar) at best story-wise, but the fanbase (which is toxic as hell they even sent death threats to the protagonist voice actor for the animation version) hype so much like it's a masterpiece (it's not).

All the abusers should go touch grass and watch Jadoo instead of Mid Leveling, so they can stop being super toxic to other fanbases and voice actors.
