a person or thing that constantly triggers you. A trigger machine can be anything you want it to be. Most of the time, trigger machines are your parents, teachers, or annoying friends. You can joke around with your friends and call them trigger machines.

my professor is a trigger machine because he keeps the class late all the time.

Someone who purposefully exposes themselves to triggering stimuli, typically trying to sabotage their own recovery. Especially common with addicts & anorexics.

Trigger Girl

A character in a piece of media who enters into the story as one of the most powerful, charismatic, and almost always morally-correct characters. If they have any character flaws, it will be because they "care too much" or are "hot-headed" despite winning every fight they have. Unlike a Mary Sue, the story does not revolve around the Trigger Girl and the plot will resolve around things a Trigger Girl can't beat into submission (e.g. solving a mystery, fixing a broken family, being a side character)
