A phrase used to attract attention to a fact or piece of information to the room at large, everyone in the area or around you etc. Derived from note to self, except that it serves as a reminder/informer of information to a group of people instead of the speaker alone.

1:(at a bar)Note to crowd, it's danny's round.
2:(at home with family)Note to crowd, there's no hot water left.
3:(at the office) Note to crowd, the printer is out of toner.
4:(to imaginary freinds)Note to crowd, someone drank all the beer.

A phrase that is used to disregard yet acknowledge someone’s criticism, critique, observation, or suggestion. The connotation is a snide ‘I don’t care what you think. You are probably right, but that doesn't matter. Shut up.’

The situation often ends as an ‘I told you so’

“Bill, you really should turn off the power before you replace that switch” …

“Cindy, I really don’t think those stiletto-heels are a good idea for where we’re going”…
