Baker act

The Baker Act is a law in Florida that allows mentally ill people to be committed to a mental health facility for 72 hours, against the will of the mentally ill person. It is commonly used as a verb. As far as I know, it is often used on people who are dangerous to themselves, for example, if they are hurting themselves intentionally, or on people who become violent and try to hurt others.

Here's what Wikipedia says:

Involuntary commitment under the Baker Act requires that a judge, police officer, or doctor find that a person is mentally ill enough to require an involuntary medical exam. Those persons deemed by court to be a danger to themselves and others around them may be involuntarily committed.

Within 72 hours of examination, the person may be released or may consent to further inpatient treatment. If not, the facility that conducted the exam must file an involuntary commitment petition that must be heard by a court within five days.

I knew a girl who got Baker Acted after she wouldn't stop cutting herself.

Matzah Baller

A Jewish Playa. In other words, a wealthy successful Jewish thug that overcame his middle-class upbringing.

Matzah Ballers typically wear a flat-billed Yamaka with a 9.99 sticker. Matzah Ballers will often wear a set of gold chains with an attached satchel of jew-gold.

Matzah Ballers showoff their status by using dual money clips. The first money clip is much tighter and will include a large number of $100 bills, whereas the 2nd money clip will contain coupons.

Finally much like a true baller, Matzah Ballers wear their new shoes with the price tag still affixed. However unlike traditional ballers..... Matzah Ballers also leave the "Clearance Sale" sticker attached.

Lou: Hey did you see those new Jordan's that Abraham was rocking?

Matt: Yeah man they were $15 at Ross but he complained and jewed them down to $12 because one of the laces was missing.

Bakerie is a colloqial term used exclusively in the greater Cleveland Ohio area to describe baked goods or bakery items (such as cookies, cake, pastries, etc.), either homemade or from the bakery establishment itself.
