Cook-from-scratch snob

People (usually over 50 who didn't grow up with microwaves and who have spent more years not working than actually working, so they have loads of time on their hands;) looking down their nose at people who don't bake their own bread, make their own jam, make their own pastry, and spend 3 hours a day, chopping and peeling and cooking every last morsel from scratch.

Many of these pseudo-intellectuals claim to even 'grow' their own foods; fruit, veg and grain, etc etc, and they scoff at people who buy frozen veg, and lecture them fervently on how much better 'fresh' is. And they name anyone who uses ready meals as chavs or lazy or somehow sub-intelligent.

Who the hell does Sylvia think she is, having a go at me for giving my kids microwave toad-in-the-whole. She is such a cook-from-scratch snob.

Cultural Food Snob

Someone who will lecture another person on the "right way" of eating foods pertaining to other cultures. They think they are being helpful, however they come across as uppity, in a very self righteous manner. These types of people are mainly found in the comment sections of TikTok videos, usually posts about food reviews either takeout or homecooked. There is no right or wrong way to enjoy food, it all comes out the same way anyways...

Also can be applied to someone complaining of a food not being "authentic enough" to their liking

"Hey guys today we are going to be reviewing Indian food from Punjab Palace."
*proceeds to eat curry with naan and rice

Commenters: "ACKTCHUALLY! You do not eat it like this! It's all wrong! If you are going to eat the food of my people I suggest you eat it right or stick to chicken tenders and fries!"

Miserable cunts (usually British) who are insistent that progressive rock is the only decent genre of music and who actively dislikes anything outside that category. These creatures tend to have as much fun in their 50s as they did in their teens (basically none) as they’re convinced that clubbing and partying is “lame” and instead sit at home with their wanked out pressing of dark side of the moon because it’s “fun to be alternative”. They marry wives who are frequently into pop music and receive daily reminders as to why Phil Collins shouldn’t have replaced Peter Gabriel in Genesis, to which they respond “well anything but a fucking 20 minute song that does fuck all”. It should be noted that they scour the internet in misery, commenting on pop videos and replying in anger on music forums.
